Inspired by flickering lights, slipped stitches are helping to show/hide from us the colors which are dancing and flickering with a transversal pattern.
Flicker is a rectangular scarf constructed with Brioche stitches. Instead of the classic rib look of Brioche, It is worked like Stockinette stitch but still carries the nature of the Brioche.
This design is perfect for beginner knitters who are learning brioche, would like to try something different to its natural rib look instead. Flicker lets the yarn to do all color work. As an alternative, for those who do not want to try brioche stitch, a similar look can be achieved by working a simple 1 x 1 ribbing.
